Our
beautiful lakes and rivers offer many activities including
water-skiing, fishing, sailing, ice skating, tubing, swimming,
canoeing, wind surfing, jet skiing, pontoon, and ice boating. The
enjoyment does not stop there... just minutes away during those cold
winter months, down hill and cross country skiing, along with snow
tubing and sledding can be enjoyed. The Three Rivers area offers
several golf courses for all levels of skill including a 36 hole
championship course, and the newly developed Island Hills Golf Course.
Organized sports is another popular attraction enhancing our quality of
life. All levels of entertainment can be found through the Three Rivers
Community Players. They are known for their dramas, wild comedies, and
splendid musicals. They also stage a special children's group, the
Apple Crate Kids. The Carnegie Center for the Arts offers a unique
display of arts and exhibits throughout the year.
Three
Rivers is extremely excited about our new high school. The passage of
the high school bond issue was a vital link in stimulating local
enthusiasm in almost every aspect. Our educators are dedicated in
helping each student achieve a sound education and cultivate a life
long interest in learning. We have five public elementary schools,
Three Rivers Middle School, and two private school systems. Glen Oaks
Community College offers graduates the opportunity for a higher
education within a commuting distance.
Three
Rivers is very fortunate to have quality health care, attracting
topnotch medical professionals. Our modern facility includes 24 hour
emergency care and many specialized services. We have two state of the
art fitness centers that offer many specialized programs such as water
therapy, circuit weights, cardiovascular exercise equipment, indoor
basketball and volley ball, aerobic studio, indoor swimming pool, and
indoor track.

promotion of the community. Three Rivers is centrally located between
the two major cities, Chicago and Detroit. Manufacturers are offered
